Shapeways guest blog post by Sloris

10-hour ferry ride + 9-hour bus ride = about 1 day’s travel. Not in my world. Here in M’s alternate universe the journey from Palermo, Italy to Djerba, Tunisia takes 5 days – more to come about that in my next blog. Due to this slight travel delay, I was unable to promptly introduce my second guest blog at Shapeways about living and working on the road. This piece takes a look at how my nomadic lifestyle affects my business and creative process.

My internet access here is still very limited, but we’re working on that (After over 5 days of about 15-30 minutes of access a day, I’m having a bit of social media withdrawal – voluntary abstention is great, forced is frustrating.) Hopefully, we’ll be fully functional soon, until then I’ll continue to walk about with my laptop trying to hone in on the strongest wifi signal. Is this the new tech version of water dowsing?

Here’s the link to read the article. Hope you enjoy it and I’d love to hear your comments.
